Sometimes you never know what you are getting when you place orders over the internet. But I can tell you I was so
pleasantly surprised; the sign was better than I ever could have expected. Such high quality workmanship. I bought this
for my father who is turning 70 this weekend. He's been a legendary carpenter all his life and has built many people beautiful homes. He is now, for the first time in his life, beginning the process of building my mom and him a home (...and yes, at the age of 70). This sign is for their new home when it is finished. I wanted to take a moment and let you know how pleased I was with my order. I looked around for months for something that
I felt would suit the entrance to our basement that would be befitting of all the work my husband had put into renovating it.
I originally started out looking for a wood sign, but couldn't find anything I felt would work. Then I came across your
site and found there were so many possible options that I completely rethought the whole concept and ended up choosing one of your
metal signs. Of course, I wouldn't know what it actually looked like until it arrived, so I was a bit anxious until I pulled it
from the box and was thrilled to see the finished product.
More importantly, it was a surpise for my husband, so I was especially tickled when he immediately hung it up in the entrance way to the basement,
where it has hung ever since. It is the first thing people see
when they go down the stairs and everyone has been amazed at the workmanship and beauty of the piece. The Rust Patina finish
gave the piece dimension and character without taking away from the artwork and the 3 dimensional effect of layering the eagle,
moon and leaves on top gave it depth. It was far and away better than I could have imagined.
